The countdown is just about finished. I love how the students get so excited about Halloween. It helps kids develop social skills through conversations. They all ask each other what they are going to be for Halloween. Trick or treat?? I think TREAT with my group of students!!
So thankful for the MIT technology. The iPads are great for creating and viewing video models for students!!
It doesn't work as planned. I have had trouble with the smartboard software these past two weeks. Even with uninstalling and reinstalling, the notebooks I have created will not work properly. Wish I had more time to trouble shoot... But for now it's back to old school paper and pencil activities.
We have started integrating iPads into our small reading, writing, and math groups. The students have shown greater interest in completing tasks using the iPads. Just wish that apple could figure out how to incorporate adobe flash so that the students could use the full function of some of the websites :-/
