Meet the Classroom Staff!
There are many people who make our classroom run smoothly. Our paraeducators are a vital part of our classroom. They are dedicated individuals who perform essential duties to encourage the academic progress of our students. Additionally, our paraeducators provide instruction and support in essential social skills and positive behavior management.
Miss Jenn
Miss Jenn has been a fantastic employee of Norwalk-La Mirada USD for more than 5 years. She has experience working with kids of all ages, in both general education and special education settings. Jenn has a long list of qualifications, including an Associate's degree, SEEK certification in behavior modification, CPI training, and coursework in Child Development and Special Education. A lifelong learner, Jenn is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in communication disorders. Go Jenn!! Jenn loves learning more about kids with autism, behavior interventions, and making a difference in kids lives. Her favorite hobbies are shopping, spending time with her fiance (congrats!), friends, and her puppies.
Miss Diane
Miss Diane has been a dedicated and highly trained paraeducator for 18 years! She has received training through Autism Partnership in Seal Beach, SEEK education, and NLMUSD. Diane loves her job and is proud to be a paraeducator at Los Alisos. Her favorite part about working as a paraeducator is celebrating kids' accomplishments, no matter how large or small! Diane is married with 3 children and 6 grandchildren (Wow! Awesome mom and grandma award!), 2 dogs and 3 cats. When she is not educating kids, Diane loves to travel, read, relax, eat, swim, and LAUGH.

Ms. Olivia
Diligent and devoted, Ms. Olivia has worked as a paraeducator for 4 years. She has worked with students in kindergarten through high school. Olivia has taken coursework in child development, is CPI trained, and has training as a healthcare aide. To Olivia, the best part about being a paraeducator is the pride she feels when the students show they have learned something. Olivia loves to spend time with her family and support them in all of their achievements.
Ms. Jessica
Ms. Jessica has been a dedicated paraeducator for 14 years!! She has been trained in CPI and has Child Development experience.
