First Trimester Projects
All of the students in this class have special needs and varying ability levels. The students work very hard on their projects and complete these as independently as possible. For some students, this may include hand-over-hand prompts, while others complete the projects by following a teacher-directed model. Still others complete these projects completely independently. These projects will contain errors, as the students are lifelong learners and will continue to make academic progress. The students are incredibly PROUD of their projects and the work they completed independently.

For this project, all students participated in a lesson on how to make pumpkin pie. Some students created a short presentation on the steps in which they participated. Other students acted out the steps necessary to make pumpkin pie (from scratch!)
